## What is Kinza?

**The Ultimate Liquidity Layer for BTC & ETH Restaking Assets**

Kinza is an ecosystem of innovative solutions that secures and supports the entire DeFi space through restaking, lending, and with a powerful Layer 2. Each ecosystem component works independently, but also as a whole, operating symbiotically as a powerful force in DeFi stability while offering unparalleled yield and incentives.

### Kinza Money Markets

[Kinza Finance](https://app.kinza.finance), our next-generation decentralized lending protocol, powers our ecosystem. Kinza Finance is currently on BNB, opBNB, Ethereum, and Mantle network, allowing users to deploy their LRTs for compound yield and DeFi positions with maximal capital efficiency. Kinza Finance prioritizes high-level security and sustainability, and supports a growing number of LRTs.

Kinza Finance native [Bitcoin staking ](https://app.kinza.finance/#/btc)with kBTC powered by Babylon offers Bitcoin holders a novel and powerful solution to bring their Bitcoin capital into DeFi while maintaining their liquidity to lend, borrow, and invest. Native Bitcoin can be staked directly on the Kinza Finance platform. The BItcoin is staked and deposited into a multi-party-computed wallet secured in collaboration with Cobo. kBTC, a multichain asset is transferred 1:1 for the staked BTC on the user preferred network to the EVM wallet connected to Kinza Finance. kBTC can be used for lending and borrowing, and can be unstaked back for BTC at any time.

### **Future**

Further along our roadmap, Kinza will release [ModuLend](/lending-core/future-development.md#kinza-modulend), a new generation of modular and permissionless lending features.

Kinza focuses on delivering [Real Yield](/introduction/real-yield-vision.md#real-yield) with multiple incentive layers, including restaking and native Kinza incentives. Our ve(3,3)-inspired tokenomics for Kinza native token KZA, were designed to fuel liquidity for maximum protocol sustainability while generating Real Yield for users. KZA holders can stake KZA to earn a slice of protocol revenue, as well as bribes.

## About Us

The name [Kinza](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinza) originates from the officially sanctioned gold guild in Tokugawa shogunate's time. Kinza Finance was started by a group of Fintech and blockchain experts with deep experience in the DeFi space. Projects we have built include Mantle Network, GRO Protocol, Cobo Custody and more. With comprehensive technical and practical knowledge of DeFi protocols, the Kinza team decided to build a lending protocol with the pinnacle of security standards and innovative tokenomics. Kinza Finance is backed by Binance Labs, Mirana, Emirates Consortium, and GTS Ventures.

*Accurate and trustworthy information will always come from our official channels. We do not have a contract deployed, and KZA has not been issued. Do not trust sources that claim to represent Kinza Finance, especially those offering airdrops, tokens, or other offers.*
